To avoid the hose to collapse under vacuum its made with five layers of reinforcement in the most critical areas. A loss in airflow of not more than 10 % compared to a conventional 90 hose is hard to beat, given its slim design.
Intended use are air intake applications, air filter, turbo inlets, compressor inlets and more. The hose can also withstand lower positive pressures but might then not be able to keep its flat shape.
