Unlike the stock GR Corolla intercooler, which features one cast aluminum tank and one plastic tank that struggle to handle increased boost from the turbocharger and are prone to cracking, our intercooler is professionally TIG welded in the USA, providing greater structural rigidity and durability.
Compared to the stock tube and fin design, our bar and plate intercoolers offer superior charge air heat dissipation and strength while maintaining the same compact size, except the slightly thicker core that is 87mm instead of the factory 81mm. This design lowers intake air temperatures, resulting in colder, denser airflow. As a result, youll experience a noticeable increase in horsepower and consistent performance, making tuning easier and promoting better overall engine health.
Installation of our intercooler is a breeze as it is a direct bolt-on application, eliminating the need for any trimming of the front bumper typically required by other front mount intercooler kits.
